Basic Maskcara HAC Tutorial

Are you already using Maskcara Beauty’s HAC Pack? If not, what are you even doing with your life?! HAC stands for highlight and contour. A HAC Pack generally includes your highlight shade, contour shade, blush shade that also doubles as a lip color, and an illuminator. Some people, like me, prefer to use two highlight shades for a brighter

under eye color. Below is a quick step-by-step guide to help you learn how to use your new found love – the Maskcara HAC Pack:

Highlight: If you’re using two highlight shades, place the lighter highlight color in the under eye area and on the bridge of your nose. Apply the darker highlight shade to your forehead, around your mouth, and your jaw area. There is no need to apply highlight in the areas where your contour will go – extra layers of product are not your friend.

Contour: Apply contour to the top of the forehead near the hairline, on the sides of your nose, in the hollows of your cheeks, and on your jawline.

Blush/Lip Shade: Apply this shade to the apples of your cheeks and to your lips, if desired.

Illuminator: Apply this shimmery goodness to your brow bones, tops of your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, and your cupid’s bow (above your top lip).

Blend as you go using your 30 Second HAC Brush or Detail HAC Brush or use the super-soft Beauty Perfector.

Maskcara Starter KitThis will drastically change your makeup routine, and trust me, you’ll love it so much more! The highlight and contour doubles as your foundation; so there’s no need for extra layers. I can do my makeup so much faster now, usually in less than 5 minutes for a full face, and I feel so much more confident!
