I’m Thankful For… Beauty Edition

Thanksgiving is just one week away, and everyone is dreaming about turkey, dressing, gravy, and lots of other deliciousness. But everyone is also talking about how thankful they are! I am thankful for so many things in my life, but today I’m bringing you a thankful post – the beauty edition. I’m going to give you some of my favorite ride-or-die beauty products that I would be totally lost without!

Dr. Brandt Needles No More 3-D Filler Mask

s1768134-main-zoomI recently discovered this heaven-sent product during a trip to Sephora. I have always been a fan of the Dr. Brandt products, so when I saw this on the shelf, I asked some questions. The lady at the store swore it was amazing, but I didn’t know if she was steering me wrong. So, because of the price tag, I just got a sample at first to try it out for myself. It took me about 3 uses before I bought the full-size, and I am so glad I did. I apply it before my primer and makeup and allow it to dry for a few minutes. It fills in any fine lines that I may have and makes my makeup application so much better! You can purchase yours here.

Becca Backlight Primer

2291329Because of their amazing highlights, Becca has quickly become one of my favorite brands. It’s best to use a primer before applying your makeup, but I could never find one that I loved; so I’ll admit I didn’t always prime before putting on my makeup. However, I have tried more primers than I can count, so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to give this one a try! Becca’s Backlight Primer doesn’t feel greasy when it’s applied, and it gives your face an illuminating glow right off the bat. If you know me, you know I love illuminating, so that’s a big selling point for me. This primer helps my makeup last all day, and makes the application of my makeup so much easier. I think I’ve found what I’ve been searching for… a perfect primer! Get yours here.

Maskcara Beauty HAC Pack

I became a Maskcara artist in the beginning of February, and immediately switched toIMG_5662 using the HAC pack. I have never looked back. I am so happy with the coverage of the makeup, how it applies, how it feels on my face, the way it looks… I just love everything about it! The HAC Pack is cream-based products which is great for your skin, and gives you a youthful, dewy glow. It contains highlight, contour, blush, and illuminator that all act as your foundation… so no extra layers! You can get yours here.

Tarte Shape Tape

3031818This concealer is amazing. That’s the only word I can think of to describe it. I have been using it for awhile, and I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. It covers everything, and I mean everything – redness, breakouts, and even the smallest imperfections. I’m sure you’ve heard how amazing it is… whoever told you that, they’re not lying to you! Everyone needs Shape Tape! Just a reminder that for your concealers (no matter the brand), you’ll want to get a shade that’s 1-2 shades lighter that your foundation shade. You can get your very own Shape Tape here.

Maskcara Beauty’s Shadow Contour

Maskcara’s contour shade, Shadow is beautiful on so many skin tones. However, I amshadow entirely too fair-skinned to wear it on my cheeks as contour, so I use it for my eyebrows! When I tell people that, they look at me like I’m crazy, but it is the perfect shade for filling in my eyebrows. I use my the small, skinny side of my Multitasker brush, dip it in the contour, and fill in my eyebrows using tiny strokes. Shadow is also a perfect shade for contouring your nose. You can purchase your Shadow here… your eyebrows will thank you.

I am thankful for SO many other beauty products, these just make it into my every single day routine! What beauty products are you most thankful for?
